Larsen A and D work for me because of their clarity, power, and depth. I use a regular A and a Solo D for balance. Like many cellos my A string is brighter than the D and the Solo D adds brilliance to match the A. Belcanto G and C are new to me. After using Spirocore for almost 20 years someone recently recommended these strings and I’ve been extremely impressed. They have a bit more “growl” than the Spirocore and have just as much focus and clarity. They are slightly more pliable which allows me to dig in more.
